Home Questions

Our questions were lost when our server was destroyed due to an ISP mess up.

We have tried to replicate several of the questions here, more to come.

What operating system does it run on? / Will it run on Windows? OSX? Linux?

Currently the system only runs on Linux. We are working on porting to OSX, and then to Windows.

But it doesn't really matter, because right now we are offering a bundled software/hardware package. This would be a pre-configured server with the software ready to run. We will also work with you on any custom features you might require.

How do the ordering (viewing) stations work?

Ordering stations are low PC's running a web browser.

You can use any computer that is capable of running a web browser. Firefox or Mozilla are recommended. (stick with those standards, eh? :)

We will have more information about our pre-configured 3-in-1, 6-in-1, and 10-in-1 ordering stations in the future

What features does it have?

There are many features of Action Image, with more being added all the time due to our development and customer requests for enhancements.

Features in brief

More details are available through our
Feature Matrix. The details for the different versions might be changing as those 3 versions were what was planned, and all might not be developed.

You can always contact us if you have a specific question or feature request

How much does it cost?

We are currently restructuring our pricing.

We are most likely going with a pre-configured hardware/software bundle specific to your business needs. And those packages haven't been finalized yet.

What packages do you offer?

We are currently working on 4 different packages to meet the needs of various volumes of event companies

Here is what we are currenlty looking at, although the actual configuration may change, it's close.
All of these systems allow your business to grow without choking your performance to deliver photos in the field.
